2010 - May 1st - Ethan's 7th Birthday and Ethan & Ella Ball games

Ethan's 7th birthday was an all day, action packed fun event. We arrived in Perris around 9:30 to start our day for ball games for all five kids. Ethan did a great job and a tremendous amount of fun with the Nuevo Baseball Pinto Team. When the game ended, all of the team boys grabbed a cupcake, Papaw squirted the icing on each one, and then the final touch, a sugar Toy Story character was added to each.

Then it was across to Ella's Tee-Ball game for a half hour of fun. She hit the ball, ran the bases and did her famous slide into home base. She and the other little kids had a great time. It was hard to believe it was in the 80's when you have a backdrop of snow covered mountains!

We then hit the road to travel to the other parks for the three older girls' games. So it was a full day by the time we returned to Perris to pick up the Toy Story cake that we had made for Ethan's birthday. We went to Lake Ellsinore to the bowling alley that Ethan had chosen for his party. We were lucky enough to have one of the private rooms with 4 lanes of bowling. Lots of fun and lots of noise with about 25 kids! Bowling was for 2 hours.

Then it was cake time followed by gifts. They all had pizza and drinks throughout the party, but always room for cake. Ethan though we did a pretty good job on his cake!
