A real 39th Birthday for Ed .. then the big four-O next year. Being a car entushiast we had to get him one of the new tee-shirts from Disney for Cars Land from the movies. It just so suits him!
What do older parents do as the years pass by ... well they find little charms that have been left back through history and re-gift to the person that would apprieciate the most. In this case, my Dad's collection of swizzle sticks from various clubs, bars, and restaurants from the '50s and 60's seemed like they would find a good home to live in as Ed is so crazy about that time period. There isn't much left from Dad so this just seemed right. Happy Birthday Ed and enjoy for many years!
With the busy weekend, they also brought over Mary Anne's favorite dessert, Apple Pie, to celebrate Mother's Day for her.
Along with that she received some PJs that she wanted.
Carrie said that Ruby went nuts at the card shop when she saw Elmo ... so it had to be for Grandma.
The album has a few extra pictures for you to see.

Larry, you have no idea how much the cocktail stirrers mean to me. You know how much I love that stuff, and the fact that it's one of the few remaining things from your dad make them that much more special.
Also, I can't wait to wear the Cars shirt on my next trip to Disneyland.
Thank you again!! You are the best!
