2012 - December 23rd - Christmas at the Crystal Cathedral

Christmas at the Crystal Cathedral is always beautiful and this year was no exception. The church was decorated Sunday for the services and in preparation for the Christmas Eve Services. We have always loved Poinsettia trees and all of the Poinsettias that adorn the church. These mixed with decorated live fir trees and other holiday garlands were just spectacular for the Sanctuary. It is our last year in the Crystal Cathedral building, but the church will go on in a location about a mile down the road. The congregation is strong, and that is the church, not the building. That doesn't mean we won't miss the building and grounds. This Christmas decoration was bitter-sweet in that regard. Please look at Our Photo Album link, clicking here for the pictures we took. On Christmas Eve the whole family attended, Eric, Shirley & children, Carrie, Ed & Ruby, and Larry & Mary Anne. We have attended these Christmas Eve Services for thirty-three years in this location.
