2013 - January 21st - Ella's 6th Birthday

Fun times for all as Ella celebrates her 6th Birthday! It's so hard to believe that Ella turns six ... the first of the Facey 6-pack 2013 birthdays!



We all were invited to Pump It Up, and inflatable play zone party place featuring a Neon Glow-In-The-Dark room with black lights for that "light-up" ambiance. Pump It Up parties have three rooms that groups rotate though on forty minute intervals so the room is all yours. There is a Welcome sign for the Birthday girl, a tub for the gifts, and all is ready to go.


After watching a short video on the safety regulations and rules of play, we enter the first room filled with gigantic slides and bounce houses for the first 40 minutes. The kids all take off their shoes and start the fun. There are several inflatables to play on plus a rock climbing wall and some table games too.

The next forty minutes are in the Neon room with black lights. Everyone wears something that will light up under the black lights ... jeez, we remember black lights from the 60's! What a fun time in this room!

Even Papaw climbed up the stairs to take the gigantic slide trip ..


Then it was off to the party room for lunch with cake and ice cream. Ella got to sit in the Royal Throne Chair (Queen or Princess, you decide) to have lunch, cake and open her gifts.

Lora made the cake and cupcakes ... great job! Too bad there weren't black lights in the party room too as the neon icing stars would have lit up! Even the different layers of the cake were neon colors and the cupcakes a mixture of neon!

It doesn't have to be said that Ella and her peeps all had a great time !!!
