2015 - April 21st - Disneyland Again!

After a two month absent span, we returned to Disneyland today for some new adventures. There is always so much to see and to experience. Snow White greeted us as we entered the front gates.  
                
Arriving on Main Street, the three of us boarded the Fire Engine to ride down to Sleeping Beauty's Castle. It has been years since we rode and this was Ruby's first time. She got to ring the truck's firebell as we rode along. Fun!
                 
                      
Disneyland is preparing for the 60th Year Celebration in a month or so and the Sleeping Beauty Castle has been redone in blue crystals on the roof with new blue banners. 
                
With Ruby's latest passion of Star Wars by sharing the movies with her Dad, we headed for the Star Tours ride for her first time ever riding on this attraction. She took in all of the sights that we encountered in the line leading to the space ride. We saw many of the characters that she recognized from the movies. She was thrilled that C3PO had taken over the helm and was our pilot. Excitement and love as she fastened into the seat!!  
  
                          
The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland has become a favorite to go on, so we boarded for our wacky trip down the Rabbit Hole!
               
                       
What's a Disneyland trip without a ride down It's A Small World?
               
 
There are many favorites in here, but we always remember the Pink Hippopotamus that Carrie always thrilled to as a kid ... and still does as and adult!
                      
                      
                      
On our walk over to The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean we passed the ranch where we saw this beautify flower cart ...
In The Haunted Mansion we picked up ghost hitch-hikers to ride along with us trying to escape from their haunting habitat!  
It's continually a great time at Disneyland and we have missed going the past couple of months with everything else we have been up to. Ruby had a violin lesson at 2:30 so we had to leave, grab some lunch, and off to the music studio. We think we will hit Disneyland and/or California Adventures again next Monday for a few other exciting things to do. Photo album link. 

We did return to Disneyland and California Adventures on Monday and did more rides and created more memories. Ruby met up with Pluto and Goofy for a photo opportunity that I couldn't resist adding to this album and blog post. Cute!!
