2016 - April 30th - Celebrating Ethan's 13th Birthday

We celebrated Ethan's 13th Birthday a day early but as much fun as it would have been on May 1st! We all met at Disneyland for the afternoon. It's always fun for Papaw because the Grands go on some rides that Grandma can't and/or doesn't like to ride. It had literally been years since riding Indiana Jones and California Scream'n' for Papaw! They were just two of the rides that we went on. We rode several more with different rides for some while others were on their selected choices. It's impossible not to have fun at the Disneyland Resort! Guess who forgot their camera??? Grandma filled in later with her iPhone for the dinner celebration!

Ethan wanted to have Mexican food, so we went down the street to the El Torito Restaurant for the Birthday dinner. Ed, Carrie and Ruby joined us there. They brought Ethan the oversize "13" helium balloons to celebrate this milestone birthday of hitting the teenage years!

With a Mexican Fiesta, there is always plenty of food for everyone. We had a great time ... a usual occurrence when getting the 13 of us together!

Gift time ... take a wild guess by the size and shape of this present from Grandma and Papaw and remember the other Birthdays this year plus what's happening in June ... Grandma forgot to take a snap, but it's Ethan's luggage for the Disney Family Vacation!
               
And how about a little embarrassment with the waiters serenading you with the Mexican accented Happy Birthday song while crowning you with a Mexican Sombrero to go with your Birthday Flan? Well then, Happy Birthday Ethan!
