2017 - September 26th - Halloween Decorations at The Disneyland Resort

2017 marks the first year that California Adventures at the Disneyland Resort has been decorated in full Halloween mode. We ventured over to the parks to see all of the decorations in both parks. Nobody does decorating quite like Disney!

From the Mickey and Friends parking structure where we board the tram, evidence of the new decorations are present with the billboards from Oogie Boogie and Cars Land .... Once on the tram, the free standing Halloween figurines of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, ghosts and more are along the tram route to Downtown Disney and the theme parks entrances.

Downtown Disney has tons of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns scattered throughout the walkways and the World of Disney Store has great displays too ...
The entrances to both California Adventures and Disneyland are Halloween ready! Inside California Adventures, bats are everywhere ... from the balconies to the overheads to the Carthay Circle Tower ...
New to the decor is the statue of the Headless Horseman .. at night the horse has steam from it's nostrils and his eyes light up red! Cars Land has been decorated to the hilt ...

Over in Disneyland, Main Street once again has Jack-O-Lanterns on every building and every lamp post too!
And what is Disney without The Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack & Sally?
The traditional Halloween Tree is in Frontierland by the Golden Horseshoe Saloon with many Jack-O-Lanterns in it's branches and fully lit with orange lights!
And with that, Oogie-Boogie bids us a fond farewell!
