2022 - April 15th-17th - Easter in Utah with The Family

The family gathered in St. George at Eric and Shirley's for the Easter weekend. Arriving Thursday we were in time to go to Evan's soccer game. We had a great time watching him and his teammates.
Great playing in a great game!
Friday evening Eric's company, Balance of Nature, hosted an Easter party and dinner for the staff and families at the Staheli Family Farm. There were several areas of entertainment and games for all ages. They put on a great dinner with plenty of food for all. Scrumptious!!! There were Easter egg hunts by age group with many prizes. The employee hunt had a golden egg with $800! There were also several multiple smaller cash value eggs from $1 to $100 in all age groups. Everyone had a fun time and came home with some Easter cash and prizes.

Saturday mid-morning before Ed, Carrie and Ruby arrived, Eric & Shirley took us into town to the annual Easter weekend Arts Festival. There were paintings, sculptures, glass-art, pottery and more. These were serious artist with art works ranging in the $100's to the $1000's. Beautiful work!

After looking at all of the beautiful art we walked around the historical district and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the sights of the area.

We had a family dinner at Cracker Barrel ... joyful and delicious!
Everyone enjoyed egg dying for the Easter Bunny!

Grandma baked her homemade sugar cookies for the grandkids and all to decorate. The ingenuity really shines through. We also had cup cakes to decorate. Judging was done for best cookie - bunny and egg, best cupcake, and best overall. And the winners are Mikayla, Papaw, Ella and Taelor! But needless to say, everyone was a winner with these great decorations!

Easter morning the kids found baskets full of goodies waiting for them. Then it was the Easter egg hunt in the front yard with well over 200 eggs in every nick-and-cranny. And the race was on!

Easter services and family time. We left on Monday and Ed, Carrie and Ruby stayed and left on Tuesday. Everyone had a wonderful holiday.
