Carrie, Ed and Ruby had invited us and Ed's mom Kay and friend Scott to join them for Thanksgiving lunch at Paul Martin's American Grill at the Spectrum in Irvine. As a surprise, Eric had arranged with Carrie to come for Thanksgiving and surprise Mom so she wouldn't cook or worry about anything. It was all wonderful! The restaurant is exqusite, we had a large menu selection, and to be there with our family was all one could ask for. Eric, Shirley, Ella, Taelor and Evan were here and Ethan came after work (but missed dinner!) ----- but not desserts!
Carrie made all kinds of desserts that we endulged in back at their house after dinner. We had pumpkin pie, apple cider doughnut cake, Fall caramel trifle and brown butter cookies. It was all so good! How she took out all of the calories is still a mystery (hahaha!)! She did a super job!
