2025 - December 25th - Christmastime

After nine years of being away from home for Christmas, this year the family all gathered here for a few days and a Christmas Day celebration too. We were missing Kendall and Mikayla, our two Florida granddaughters who were unable to get the time off for travel with the busy workload at Disney. They were here in our thoughts and hearts!

Merry Christmas to All
The house was decorated to the hilt with our Christmas collection from over the past 52 years. It surely is a festive time! The tree was loaded with Disney ornaments from many years and is so joyful.
Some packages begin to fill in under the tree

The Mom and Dad stockings are hung on the fireplace

Decorations take over the mantel shelves

The Mickey countdown calendar takes its place on the den door with many decorations on the shelf next to it, displaying all fun things
Santa always sits close to our gingerbread house and Lenox Christmas Tree platter
All the "kids" stockings hang from the shutters facing the fireplace with Dads and Moms stockings
The Disney perpetual fireplace sings Christmas carols all holiday season
Our Disney Village and characters
Good-Old Frosty always has a prominent place and is adorned by all of the Grandkids
Taelor in the Christmas spirit!

Mary and Jordan came in from Kentucky

The pups --- Tikie and Doc Holiday
Doc wants to see what on earth is going on!

The kids requested the individual 3-layer tier cakes that we had when Christmas was at our house in years past. So we baked and iced twelve cakes and then everyone grabbed candy decorations to finish off in their own personal style. FUN!

Christmas Goose #1 done and ready! Great job Grandma!
Christmas Goose #2 ready for carving. We have had this tradition for 52 years and everyone looks forward to it!
Some of the Christas dinner fixings!
Table settings are festive and so Christmas!
Addition overflow table. We no longer have little kids, but all adult-size folks. I enjoyed dining with some of the grandkids down here with the tree!
