2009 - February 17th - At Disneyland for Carrie's 33rd Birthday

After returning from their overnight in Palm Springs, Carrie & Ed finished Carrie's Birthday in Disneyland. Mary Anne stayed home nursing a cold while Larry went to the park and joined them for dinner and a couple of rides.


A Small World is reopened keeping the integrity of the ride while adding some of the animated Disney characters. The characters are done in the same motif as the other dolls and blend in very well. Disney did a great job of not turning this into a Disney Attraction ride. And yes, you still get off of the ride singing A Small World for hours!


Carrie received her Birthday Celebration pin and Ed was given a Celebration pin for being with her. All I got were 33 years of memories and being there at the real beginning!

Minnie & Mickey were met at the front of the park as we were leaving and gave Carrie a big Happy Birthday Good Wish. Click our photo album link to see a few photos!
