2009 - May 30th - Freddy's Graduation with Freddy & Valerie's Graduation Party

It was all Pomp and Circumstance with the orange and white graduation gowns at Freddy's Boone High School graduation. With over 650 kids, 11 valedictorian speeches, and administration speeches, two and a half hours was a bargain! We sat on the correct side as Freddy was in front of us and only three chairs in. It was a grand night to remember. With Fire Fighting School and Paramedic School to come, a new phase of Freddy's life will begin at the end of June.

Grandma and Grandpa are proud.
With Valerie graduating from North Carolina State two weeks prior, the graduation party at the VFW was held for both graduates. Quite festive with the high school orange and the college blue. A great time was had by all and many special memories were shared.

Yes, we were there … we didn't purchase pictures of the event and pretend to have gone to Florida!
