2012 - January 28th - Santa Barbara

While watching Diners,Drive-Ins & Dives, one of the places visited was Mac's Authentic British Fish & Chips in Santa Barbara, CA. The folks who opened it are from the UK and thought Santa Barbara should have an authentic British cafe. It sounded good, so on this Saturday we drove the little over two-hour drive to Santa Barbara for lunch at Mac's. Is that unusual? We have no time clock to punch on Saturday, so enjoyed the coastal drive. We walked the main shopping area and visited various stores before lunch. When we first arrived we walked the Pier and enjoyed the ocean views.

The fish & chips were so good that I forgot to take a picture of the food ... or was it because at that time we were pretty hungry? Anyway, we really enjoyed the food, the trip, and the day! Check out the album link by clicking here.
