2012 - January 22nd - Ella's 5th Birthday

Ella has been slightly obsessed with Darth Vader, not Star Wars, but Darth Vader. When she told her parents that she wanted a Darth Vader party they were very surprised. Shirley found someone online that had the same dilemma. Her Mom made her a Darth Vader Princess with a pink tutu. What a great idea! So thus the birth of the Vader Princess party!

Ella told her parents to be sure that Darth Vader got an invitation to her party, as she really wanted him to come. He did show up and Ella ran to the comfort of Papaw's lap. But she adjusted and make nice with Darth!

All of the food had a Star Wars theme

There was even a Darth Vader Pinata
Jordan called Uncle Ed and asked him to bring his violin so that he could join her, Kendall, & Megan playing the theme song to Star Wars. Jordan played her Sax, Kendall her clarinet, Megan the Xylophone and then Uncle Ed on the Violin. They treated us all with some other songs too and convinced Uncle Ed to play a couple of solos!
Darth Vader challenged all to a light sword battle in the back yard. Everyone survived and had a great time!




And Ella had a great Birthday!
