2012 - December 25th - Christmas Day

Our Christmas Day began by being at Ed & Carrie's at 6:45 AM so that we could see Ruby come out of her room and see her expression when she discovered Santa had made his stop. Santa brought Ruby her Radio Flyer Red Wagon ... with a canape, seats and lots of room for a "guest" rider and/or filling up with stuff for a walk!

There were amazingly beautiful gifts under their tree for all ...
After a little Grandma lap time, it was off to opening gifts ...




Ruby loved her ice cream cone play set and her Lighting McQueen purse!

Papaw and Grandma received a wonderful book of all Ruby events through out 2012 ..
We returned home to start the preparations for for the traditional Facey Family Goose dinner with all of the trimmings. We relaxed as the dinner was cooking with all of the tremendous smells of the day.

Our front living room was ready with the gifts for the family ...
Eric, Shirley and the 6-pack Grandkids arrived in the afternoon to have our Christmas exchange with all.

The gift opening was so much fun for all ...








Ed, Carrie and Ruby arrived for more exchanges ...


There sure was a lot of good times being had by all ...
Then it was time for dinner. The Geese were at perfection once again ..


All the trimmings including the the famous Grandma Tope Ribbon Salad that makes it annual appearance ..

Our Christmas dinner was wonderful with Goose, Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Stuffing, Cranberries, Pickles & Olives ... enough for all ...

We then took a break to clean-up a little and open the Christmas Stocking goodies before having the Individual Christmas Cakes for each that Grandma baked and Papaw decorated ...
Everyone put their own "dibs" on the one they selected ...




Then it was time for the Grandkids picture by the Merry Christmas Mickey Mouse flag
