2013 - September 18th - Lunch with Loraine & Dinner with the Ikehorns

We headed for Columbus Wednesday morning with Carrie and Ruby in tow for our lunch with Mary Anne's cousin Loraine. It had been too many years since we were last together. Good food and even more excellent conversation catching up. It was GREAT! 
  Then Wednesday evening, Ed drove down to meet us after his business meeting and Eric, Shirley and the family arrived in Columbus from their cross-country drive. We all met with cousin Phil & Evelyn Ikehorn with their family and Aunt June for a wonderful dinner and lots of talk! We had stopped in Junction City, KS to see Phil's sister Peggy and her family as documented in the September 12th blog entry. Again, too many years since we have seen them. Aunt June has just turned 90 and is the same as we remember from all of those years ago. The family is great and was wonderful to meet in person ... they planted the seed with Phil & Evelyn for a California visit next summer!
