On Friday the 20th, we continued some of the Columbus stomping grounds from Mary Anne's youth. We stopped at her old High School at Hamilton Township and her Lockbourne Ohio Methodist Church. The entire school has been rebuilt so looks nothing like it did but the church is primarily the same. On our way up to the Ohio State University campus, we stopped by Scioto Downs, the racetrack where her step-dad raced close to the old farm.

Then we went to The Ohio State University campus where this tale began forty years ago when we met at work at the OSU Hospital. The Facey family are BIG advocates of OSU so this was the chance to be part of the campus. We spent quite a bit of time on campus and took pictures in the Union and on the Quad.
Leaving Columbus, we stopped at our townhouse where we lived in 1976. Had to take the photo op with Carrie as her first home to match-up with the day we brought her there in February 1976.
We then drove to Toledo and visited the cemetery for my parents and grandparents. Later that evening we all had a family dinner at the Original East Toledo Tony Packo's. It just wouldn't be a family trip to Toledo without gathering here!
