Ruby has had a busy couple of weeks that we were able to watch her participate in. On March 24th, her Burcham Elementary PTA had a Fit-A-Thon money raiser for the kids to participate. Ruby was excited and sent out sponsor requests. She had a ball doing all of the Fit-A-Thon activities that day and was proud of the work-out she received and also all of the generous support from family and friends.
The third entry here is Ruby's Science project. As a Kindergartener, she did very well learning about Displacement. The project used two 2-cup measuring cups and a large rock. By measuring the difference between the two when the rock was inserted, she learned about displacement. She hand printed all of the steps on lined paper to put on her display board. Then she wrote her report, even including a drawing. Her project was selected as one of the three kindergarten projects to be advance to the district. Next month she will go before the district members to show them and give an oral presentation of her project. Keeping out fingers crossed for her!
