Another year has passed with Ruby growing-up. The time passes so quickly. On Halloween, in their tradition, all of Ruby's friends from the old Mom's group came to their house for all of the kids to go Trick-or-Treating. After getting all of their goodies, they have a small birthday celebration by all of the kids for Ruby. This year, Eric, Shirley and the kids were here for this too after a day at Disneyland.
On her actual birthday, November 2nd, when she got out of school, we stopped by the house with an over-sized cupcake and her gift from us. We all enjoyed some cake. Ruby has asked for Evie dolls from Disney's Descendants which we were able to track down for her. She also liked the Disney Princess Elena art set, one of her favorite gals from the Disney channel. This year, Ruby is also really into the Emoji craze, so Grandma found Mickey & Minnie Emoji plushes for her too!
As an added bonus, Papaw dug out his old little ceramic cat collection and cleaned them up to give to Ruby. She loves cats and these were doing no one any good in a bag in the garage! So maybe in another 60 years or so she'll pass them down to another generation.
And then to finish it all up, she had about 15 of her school friends join her at Chuck E. Cheese for a blow-out birthday party on Friday the 3rd. Fun was had by all! This was her Emoji party ... cake and cupcakes!
