We had a great day celebrating Birthday 69! The entire family came in to spend the day together. There was an open house in Los Angeles for all of the theaters ... The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson Theatre, Disney Concert Hall, Broad Museum, and events in Grand Park. We decided to leave the driving and parking at home so caught the Blue Line of the Metro train to go into LA and transfer over to the Red Line to Grand Park and all of the theaters and park. Always fun to ride the train and we always have to get a picture at the Del Amo Station of the kids with the giant art wheel!

The stations are always fun ... the one at the park has "the flying people"!

Love this picture of Evan and Ruby just being themselves ... two cute cousins enjoying and taking care of each other!
Then there's always a little relaxing on the park benches ...
There were a lot of The Day of The Dead displays in Grand Park that we all enjoyed before we went to Grand Central Market for lunch.

Some great family pics in front of The Walt Disney Concert Hall ...

Even though Kendall isn't with us right now, we never forget her and always bring her up in conversation. So when the opportunity arrived that we spotted Kendall's Brasserie, we had to take pictures!!!
It was a perfect day! We all stopped at Dairy Queen for ice cream upon our return. Great! But to top it all off, Eric went to The Cheesecake Factory and bought my favorite to put that cherry on to of this splendid day!
Many great cards that were all appreciated and loved. But cherished is my Mickey card that Kendall made with pop-up lightening bolts that arrived on my day. It was great like the entire day!
