Eric and family were in town for a week to celebrate his birthday and do some Southern California sightseeing with the family. For the first time for most of us, we went to Benihana's Restaurant to have his birthday dinner. Not only is the food outstanding, the show with the live cooking presentation at the table is awesome! With 13 of us, we had two tables. Both of our Chefs were great. They both put on quite a show and prepared delicious food. No complaints from anyone on this fun-filled experience!
And the food began … first Fried Rice

Shrimp …. Corn, Zucchini, Chicken Breasts, Onions … Prawns, shrimp, lobster, scallops, chicken, onions
Add some mushrooms and a couple of steaks (for Jordan, naturally!)
The spectacle of the dinner was the building of the onion ring volcano, lighting it and the overhead red light display looking like flowing lava!
The meals were so scrumptious … including my Seafood delight - lobster, shrimp and scallops with some rice and dipping sauce. 
At home we had two cheesecakes for this 42nd Birthday Celebration!
