2020 - December 21st - Downtown Disney, California Adventures and Shepherd's Grove Christmas

Good old year 2020, the year to be known as the Covid-19 Pandemic, really messed a lot of things up including our hang-out, Downtown Disney, Disneyland and California Adventures. State regulations finally approved for the stores to open in Downtown Disney then about two months later approved the stores on Buena Vista Street in California Adventures to open. It was great to be able to get a little bit of Disney in these tumultuous times. Mickey and Minnie banners welcomed us to the Downtown Disney shopping area.
A gorgeous turquoise, gold and white ornamented Christmas tree welcomes us with an oversized book containing a message from Minnie Mouse:
As we stroll through Downtown Disney and past stores with Christmas window displays, there are many holiday decorations up to bring one and all into the Christmas spirit.
Entering into the California Adventure Park we are yet reminded that we are in a world-wide pandemic with Health and Safety Reminders posted on the holiday decorated lamp posts. All of the buildings also have various signs reminding everyone of distancing protocols and wearing face coverings stressing the covering of both mouth and nose.
We walked Buena Vista Street, finished out last Christmas shopping and visited the parts of Hollywood Land that we were allowed to enter. We had a magical time and really enjoyed being at Disney once again ... even if limited!
Sunday December 20th was Christmas Sunday at Shepherd's Grove. It is to be our last attended service here until 2021. We will be at Eric and Shirley's next Sunday and then we self-quarantine for 10 days upon our return. The church is decorated for Christmas and puts everyone in that holiday spirit,
