Spent some leisurely time in Downtown Disney and then California Adventures Park. Lovely Fall decorations throughout and Halloween décor as well! There is a new pedestrian bridge connecting the Pixar Pals and Mickey & Friends parking structures to Downtown Disney. No more waiting for crossing lights on the streets … we get to walk above and over the streets! On the Downtown Disney side, the pathway has gorgeous gardens next to the wide cemented path. Great job!

Downtown Disney has tons of pumpkins and holiday gourds. There are several Halloween inspired looks mixed in with this Fall display as well.
Then as we walked around and took another look, here is Donald all put together!
Minnie Mouse
Mickey Mouse
And there were even Chip & Dale being chased by Pluto
The colorful pumpkins continues in vibrant Fall colors and even pattern designs.

Inside California Adventures, the Headless-Horseman once again gets prominence in the park for the Halloween season!
Of the several rides we took, The Little Mermaid is always a must. For the years that we took Ruby when she had an annual pass before hitting school age, this one was always a must to ride for her. We always think of her as we ride those clam-shell cars through the magic of the under-the-sea world of Ariel!
During the summer, the newest ride in California Adventures was opened featuring Inside Out with the Emotional Whirlwind. It's really colorful and all of the emotions are there … Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. I'd rather have had my picture taken with Joy, but Disgust was awaiting me!!!

Cars Land Town Hall with Mater Fountain
And the Luigi Dancing Cars … fun to ride!!!
Naturally, this is just a sampling of what we did and saw. It is such a great escape to enter the world of Disney and transport your cares and concerns to another place and simply enjoy where you're at!
We usually do not do character meet-and-greets, but with our Disney Visa membership, we had a one-to-one session with Minnie Mouse. The greeting area is all screened off so other people are not watching or interacting. Mary Anne told Minnie that we were celebrating her 70th birthday. Minnie must have like that as she took extended time with us, gave hugs and kisses, and had several pictures taken. It was fabulous as Minnie would say! And all of the pictures were free to us! They are all so good that I didn't delete any of them even if they are similar or versions of another picture but up closer!
Minnie greets us with hugs and listens like we are having a real conversation!
